"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."Hebrews 11:1

The words struck me as the preacher was reading out the verse. I mean like how true it is if you think of each word carefully to what 'FAITH' really means.

Actually i think in life there're way too much uncertainties for anyone to possibly live happily and peacefully. but FAITH makes it all possible. FUTURE is something we do not see, but with FAITH, we SEE the future, by whatever does future means to you. so FAITH basically sums up the most basic principle of religion. yea. haha.

yesterday was my church's 45th anniversary. the combined choir was great, magnificient, wonderful and whatever words u can think of to describe the perfection of it. especially the last song' HALLELUJAH' where the conductor who is the music pastor invited everyone to stand while the choir sings. to think of it, i've never really heard a choir sing hallelujah before with my own ears LIVE. usually i only hear that in movies to mske the sound effect of a certain scene or happening, in a very comical manner. hope u get what i mean. HAHA.

then buffet at mandarin hotel was splendid too. the food was really really good. trust me. with aunty jane, you never fail to get good food. haha. thou i didnt really feel the anxiety of celebrating the 45th anniversary of my church just as yet maybe cos i want born in church as in was in church since birth, but i still grew up in church and grew with the church. it's also been 10 yrs alr i guess. yea and it's still counting. DEFINITELY counting. haha.

then went over the cine and neoprinted cos i didnt go out with them ytd and they neoprinted. deb and billy pruposely neoprinted with us too cos its really been since since we last neoprinted. as in SOAR. HAHA.carmen wish you were here!!! then we watched ENCHANTED! its seriously a freaking nice movie. cos since young i always wonder what would it be like if fairy tales came true. and it came true in enchanted. came true as in come alive into real life (well at least in the movie it IS real life) its just so awesome and cool la. seeing all the birds and rats and mice and cockroaches help you clean and tidy your house. thou it's like kinda disgusting but will kinda cool at the same time. how ironic eh. HAHA.

the real world which is the world we live in has no happily ever afters. i think its kinda true cos reality is always cruel and harsh. BUT on the other hand, it just depends how you percieve it. if you believe there ARE happily ever afters, well then there ARE. but if you DON't, well then there AREN'T. as simply as that. yea people will say wake up and stop decieving yourself la. but its really subjective you see. as for now, i still dont wanna decide if i wanna believe if they are happily ever afters or not just as yet.

after movie the 4-1 had a long long chat or rather long long update for me on all the stuff and happenings cos i dno why im always the last to know. am i being too ignorant about my surroundings or what? i don't think so, but just somehow i always don't seem to know what's going on around me until people tell me and update me. sounds so loser of me eh! =x im not too nosy to go round poking into people's business and im not saying that i dont care, maybe i just dont notice it or being sensitive enough about it as much as others do. i mean i admit sometimes i really do ought to be so cos they're like my bestest friends on earth. but somehow its like when its time to know, i will know cos they'll tell me. no matter what they'll not leave me out thats for sure.

well lots of stuff has been going on and many ARE gonna happen soon if not sooner or later. and some are just outta our control cos seriously there's minute to what we can do, or in some cases we cant do anything at all but just to lend our listening ear and to shoulder the burden and hopfully be able to give some wise comments, but which sometimes may not be of any help at all. in a sense its also very hard for people who are outside, or rather people who arent involved to help and change to situation. it depends more on the moves of the people involved. yea its just so complicated la, and its no surprise if i gets anymore complicated. sigh what are all these? growing up? sure does SUCKS big time. ahhh.

anw im counting my money very carefully now, cos CHRISTMAS is coming! :D
